This private, guided tour (max 15 persons) in english or serbian is perfect for guests who enjoy active routes, wild nature, and authentic experiences. On our traditional, wooden boat we cruise through quiet, remote canal. Faraway from busy areas.
You have a great chances to see our famous pelicans, herons, cormorants, and many other bird species can be observed in their natural habitat. The duration of 4 hours allows us to move slowly and peacefully, making birdwatching especially rewarding.
The highlight is the visit to the waterfalls of Poseljani. After arriving at the abandoned village, we walk about 800 meters to beautiful waterfalls and the ruins of old stone watermills.
Here, guests can relax, enjoy the sound of nature, and swim in natural pools beneath the waterfalls — one of the most memorable parts of the entire experience.
About Poseljani:
Poseljani was once an important village with around 15 functioning watermills. As time passed, the village slowly disappeared. Today, only ivy-covered stone walls remain. The oldest part, Bridžin, is believed to be over 300 years old, and only one family still lives there.

Skadar Lake National Park fee not included (€5 in cash per person over 14 years, as of 08/2025)
Itinerary:
- Start at harbor of Virpazar (free Parking)
- Jump into the boat just at the start of Skadar Lake
- Enter the Skadar Lake near Grmzur island
- Pass the National Park Museum and the bridge to Podgorica
- Drive through natural beds of water lilies.
- See Pelican, Kormorans, eagles, other birds depending on the season
- Cross locals who bring the cow to the meadows, on their boat (by chance)
- Embark to Poseljani and walk through the abondened village (800m)
- Jump into waterfall
- Head back to boat and continue
- Go swimming and relax in this pure nature
- Return to see many other views of the Lake area
- Safely reach the harbour of Virpazar
- Optionally dining (if booked)
Please come to meeting point at least 30 minutes before time of start because we need to go to the boats.

Note: Virpazar has a free parking just at the railroad crossing at the main road between Bar and Podgorica.
From there it is 10 minutes easy walk to Noah's Ark Skadar Lake Cruise.
